Saint George Hotel A very nice hotel with friendly staff and excellent rest (La Esquina). I used it as a base for photography of Iguazu. Location across from bus terminal made it easy to get to and from the park very inexpensively compared to taxi. enjoyed the activity around the hotel.. artesanias, bar-rest, etc. Very safe environment, well patrolled. I would stay here again. Suggest one request to stay in new wing of hotel. Richard Rawlins - Santa Ana, USA - Posted: 07/10/2008

Saint George Hotel The hotel is very well located, right in the centrum of the city, next to the bus terminal. We took the suite junios and the room was very big (specially the bathroom), with huge beds and a small balcony. The staff is friendly and really do their best and the food is quite ok for the price. I really recommend it to anyone going to Iguazu! Pilar Gonzalez - Leuven, Spain - Posted: 02/04/2008

Orquideas Palace Hotel Good hotel with convenient location to the Falls and the city. Breakfast food is very mediocre to put it mildly. Dinner buffet is quite expensive relative to the quality. Better to eat in the city restorants. Considerable defficiency of the hotel that it does not offer any tours or excursions to Iguazu Falls. But it has very convenient access to the public transportation. Bus stops right next to hotel. It is inexpensive (4 pesos in any direction). Overall it is a good hotel for the money. Los Helechos Inn The hotel is right next to the bus terminal, which is a great plus! It's also in the centro, so there are restaurants, tourist stores, and grocery stores nearby. Saint George Hotel Our evaluation may be biased, but we get a bad surpise. The first room was closed to the garbage and on the road. We can imagine the noise. We asked for a double bed but we got two single beds. We asked for a change. We get a new room only the second night. It was better located but still old.
Staff is unfriendly in particular with non speaking Spanish people. The pool is also old.
The only positve thing is the restaurant.
Make sure that next guests will get a room on the pool.

Saint George Hotel This hotel need serious update...furniture, doors, and windows, and old noisy air conditioners... We especially do not like the fact that they turn off the AC when you're not in the room...thus after a long hot day out, we return to an old, muggy, hot hotel room. Towels are old and filled with stains...we had to ask for clean ones each day and still get old, stained towels...maybe due to old dryer too as we had some clothes dried and our white shirts and shorts came back stained.... One note about the restaurant...service was exceptional....food was quite good. Michelle Hsu - San Francisco, USA - Posted: 20/03/2007

Esturion Hotel This hotel looks fantastic from the outside. It has nice gardens and a good restaurant. The rooms were a bit run down, though. We had a superior room, which gave us a view of Paraguay and Brazil -- that was great! Pirayu Apart Hotel Comparing to the photos on the website, the apartman was a bit old, and the equipment as well.
The breakfast was really small and shallow, simply not enough and not good. But the grill-evening was very nice, the food was excellent the atmosphare as well. Los Helechos Inn The hotel standard in Iguazu seemed to be low, so this was not an exception. The pool area was very small and not very wellcoming. The rooms are were small and you could easely hear the neighbours talking. We booked halfboard, and that is not recommendable. I think the extra money it costs to take Hotel San George instead is well worth it. Agneta Ivarsson - Dalarö, Sweden - Posted: 03/01/2007
