Tour Description
Buses depart from El Calafate at 6.45 am arriving at the port of Punta Bandera 45 minutes later. Travelers board the catamaran which sails along the northern branch of the Lake Argentino and later into the Upsala branch. Here you will find impressive icebergs and marvelous views of the Upsala Glacier.

The boat continues its navigation along the Cristina branch reaching Estancia Cristina. This privileged spot is the best access by land to the Glacier as well as the Ice Cap.
Depending on wether conditions the Guides at Estancia Cristina will organize activities varying in difficulty and length, visiting various areas of the historic Estancia and its surroundings. We highly recommend touring the area on horseback because it offers a superb combination of forests, lakes, canyons end even spots overlooking the Glacier.
