DESCPRIPTION

The tour is an invitation to sail along the Rico Arm of Lake Argentino to then border and see the Perito Moreno Glacier from the southern end. This is a new perspective that will allow visitors to discover the glacier’s true dimensions and listen to and watch falling ice blocks. For almost an hour, the boat sails beside the 70-meter (229 ft.) high wall.

Los Glaciares Park and Natural Reserve was declared World (Natural) Heritage Site by UNESCO. It includes Lakes Viedma and Argentino and nearby areas, and also part of the ice field from which the glaciers Moreno, Onelli, Agassiz and Upsala originate, with a front of 5 km (3 mi.).

Perito Moreno glacier descends to Argentino Lake and its 35-kilometer (21 mi.) long and 70-meter (230 ft.) high wall above water level can be admired, with vibrant colors ranging from white to turquoise.
