2-Day Inca Trail to Machu Picchu
The hotel we were booked in on night 1 (Hotel Continental) had black mold all over the bathroom walls and the bedding smelled musty. Black mold can make people very sick. I was very disapointed that we were not dropped off at our lodging in Cusco at the end of the tour. We were dropped off at night in the pouring rain in the Plaza des armas in Cusco. Every other tour that I went on during my 2 weeks in Peru picked up AND dropped off at our hotel.

Description
The Inca Trail is part of the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, protected area by the National Institute of Natural Reserves INRENA being the maximum number of visitors per day allowed 500 people. In view of it, all the reserves must be made with a minimum of 45 days of anticipation to the date of trip.
Each visitor must obey the rules of the park, those that they prohibit: to throw sweepings, to cut or to damage the trees, to remove or to spoil stones of the ruins or the way, to remove plants, to kill animals, to set open fire or to encamp within the rest Incas. Only able to use places authorized to encamp.

Day 1
the tourists will be picked up in the hotel, soon will go in bus towards the locality of Ollantaytambo, where the train in the direction of km 104 at 2250 meters on the level of the sea will be approached .
There will begin a trekking of six hours through Way of the Inka will occur.
During the route the archaeological rest will be known Chachabamba 2270 meters on the level of the sea, later to ascend to the most important archaeological complex within the Inka Way, located in Wiñayhuayna to 2650 meters on the level of the sea.
Finally the ruins of Inti Punku (Door of the sun) to 2780 meters will be crossed on the level of the sea, soon to arrive at Machupicchu, 2400msnm, and finally to descend in a transport until the Hot Water town, where the night in a hotel will go.

Day 2
The activity begins to the 6 in the morning to go in a transport towards the ruins of Machupicchu, to 2400 meters on the level of the sea.
There a brief review of the place will occur.
Soon there will be free time until the established hour of meeting, for the return in train to Cusco.
