Sebastian was a wonderful tour guide! He was so knowledgeable about the wildlife, and he was very helpful in telling us other interesting spots to stop at in Puerto Madryn. Definitely went above and beyond the call of duty and he was very good about interchanging English and Spanish. It was so clear I actually understood him in both languages. Absolutely excellent! :)

The regular service is all that is needed for this trip. Private would not offer any advantage other than shortening the trip a little by not having multiple pickup stops.

DESCRIPTION

This tour visits one of the selected places as Natural Patrimony of the Humanity by the UNESCO. A variety of terrestrial and marine fauna not usually seen in a same place is its unique characteristic.

The passengers are picked up early in the morning to discover the natural reserves and the main tourist points of Peninsula Valdes protected area:
- Centre of Interpretation Istmo Ameghino
- Island of the Birds
- Colony of sea lions in Punta Piramides
- Tourist village of Puerto Piramides, where is optional to do the Whale Watching Navigation (from July to December)
- The Small and Large Salt lakes, ones of the greatest depressions in America
- Colonies of sea elephants in Punta Delgada (in winter)
- Caleta Valdes, where is possible to see birds, penguins, sea lions and sea elephants
- Lighthouse of Punta Norte in the season of killer whales (summer)

During the way, it is the possible to see a lot of terrestrial fauna, as lamas guanacos, patagonian hare, grey foxes, patagonian piche or armadillos and Darwin’s rheas. During the complete day the tour is guided by experts in patagonian nature.
