Galicia Hotel
The hotel is perfectly adequate as a one night stay. The overwhelming problem is noise! The inhabitants of Trelew seem to spend all evening, night and morning roaring around in incredibly noisy vehicles. It renders sleep before 2am, practically impossible.

Faro Punta Delgada Hotel
Our first time in South America.3 weeks in Argentina and Uruguay were fantastic.2 stand out memories are the chaos of Uruguay's El Clasico (Nacional v Penarol in Montevideo)and the pure tranquility of walking on the beach at Punta Delgada with our wonderful guide Daniel, surrounded by elephant seals. A real priviledge.

Villa Piren Hotel
Dissapointed that a hotel of this quality was not not air-conditioned in the bedrooms (day-time temperatures of 35-40 degrees when we were there). Also, staff were unable to assist us in use of the bedroom safe deposit box.

La Ernestina Ranch
Rooms are basic,food is mediocre.Not worth the 3+ hr drive.Stay in Puerto Madryn and take a day trip to Pointe Norte to see elephant seals.Chances of seeing orca's are slim to none.Go to Punta Tombo to see penquins where you are as close as you can get,an unforgettable site, far superior to la ernestina.
