DESCRIPTION

The tour begins in Puerto Montt and after a short stop in Puerto Varas continues toward the city of Llanquihue. At this point the road borders lake Llanquihue along the old route of the pioneers, up to Frutillar. Here the tour stops at the Museo Colonial, at the coastal Ave., at typical German houses and to enjoy beautiful views of the volcanoes Calbuco, Osorno, Puntiagudo and Puyehue.

The tour continues north to Puerto Octay, a German-style village and then to Entre Lagos, another small town on the shores of lake Puyehue. The next stop is at Hotel Termas de Puyehue, on the southern shore of the lake. Guests can optionally use the thermal pools (not included in tour price).

The tour continues across Puyehue National Park and there is a short stop to see the Salto de los Novios waterfall. Then reaches the Chilean and Argentine customs, where all passengers must present immigration forms.

Once in Argentinean territory the tour passes by lakes Espejo and Correntoso and the Quetrihue peninsula reaching the town of Villa la Angostura. Here there is spare time to take pictures and walk around.

The tour continues along Nahuel Huapi lake and alter 1 hour reaches the city of Bariloche.
