Description
This excursion combines the exiting trip to the clouds (the Bull's Ravine), meeting a prehispanic culture showing Tastil, ruins of a singular "Pucará", going up to San Antonio de los Cobres, with the impressive return trip through the salto-jujeño puna reaching an altitude of 4200 mts above sea level. Down the road 40 we get to "Salinas Grandes" with an arid landscape. It is a wide white extension of salt. Then we go down to the "Abra del Lipan"(4200 mts) up to the delightful and catching town of "Purmamarca" where we find the Seven Colours Hill. Before getting to the valley leading us back to Salta we come across the city of "Jujuy", whose cathedral still keeps the first Argentine flag.
