Infelizmente a vinícola que desejávamos conhecer foi substituída por outra sem que tivessemos a chance de optar ou escolher, devido a Concha y Toro estar fechada. Acho que o City Tour deveria ser um passeio de dia inteiro pois Santiago é grande e tem bem mais atrações e pontos turísticos do que os que são mostrados.

DESCRIPTION

The city tour around Santiago de Chile is a good way to have a closer look at the mixture between the old and modern, a typical characteristic of this city. At present, Santiago is a modern city with over 6 million inhabitants. It concentrates most of the cultural, business, industrial, and commercial activity in the country. This tour includes a visit to the downtown area in order to see its old buildings, the most important institutional offices, and outstanding museums and monuments representing most of Chile and Santiago’s history.

- The Post Office
- Santiago City Hall

- Government Palace (La Moneda -Coin House

After the City Tour, passengers are taken to lunch (not included in the value of the trip). Then begins the tour to the vineyards of Concha y Toro, the largest winery in Chile.

The visit starts in Piazza Don Melchor, where passengers are greeted by a guide that invites to enjoy a panoramic view of the vineyard of Pirque, accompanied by a glass of wine.

Walking through the old park, you can see the Casona de Pirque, residence of the Concha y Toro family for over 100 years.

During the tour are explained the cultural and technological aspects on which these vines get a top quality performance.

After the visit to Concha y Toro, the tour returns to the hotels of the passengers.
