How to get there: The Escondido lake is 60km (38 miles) and the Fagnano Lake is 104km (65 miles) from Ushuaia, going along Ruta Nacional Nro. 3 towards Río Grande. The road is mostly not paved and crosses the Olivia River, the Velo de Novia fall, the Carbajal Valleys, Tierra Mayor, Las Cotorras and Rancho Hambre. From there, you get to the Garibaldi Path, the highest site from where the Escondido and Fagnano Lakes can be seen.
